Air Force cadets receive National Awards

Air Force ROTC Cadet Jenicia M. has been named the Air Force ROTC winner for the Air Force Cadet Officer Mentor Action Program for 2011. This award is presented to a cadet demonstrating tremendous leadership, devotion to the cadet wing, and to others as a mentor. She was invited to attend a banquet with this organization at Boling AFB, MD and was presented her award and a $1,000 scholarship by the Air Force Vice Chief of Staff, General Breedlove.
Air Force ROTC Cadet Katherine B. was awarded the Air Force Command and Staff College's Gathering of Eagles Award for 2011. Her essay highlighting the career and contributions of Colonel John A. Warden III was selected as the top essay submitted from all of AFROTC. She will be honored at the Gathering of Eagles annual banquet at Maxwell AFB, AL and presented her award and a $1,500 scholarship.
Air Force ROTC Cadet Christopher T. was named as a Southeast Region winner of the 2011 Society of American Military Engineers award. This award recognizes outstanding performance in an engineering field and tremendous leadership and dedication to Air Force ROTC.
